The load of the vehicle body is connected with the wheels through the suspension device. With the more and more advanced structural technology of load-bearing vehicle body in recent decades, some vehicles will also install the subframe, and one end of the chassis part will be installed on the subframe.
 
It is commonly used in general cars and urban SUVs.
 
Advantages: smooth and comfortable driving, low inherent frequency, low noise outside the car, light weight and low floor inside the car. Because it is generally processed by thin plate and spot welding, it is easy to produce in mass.
 
Disadvantages: because the integrated manufacturing ensures the stiffness, it is difficult to be transformed, and the noise and vibration of the road and engine are easy to be transmitted into the vehicle.
